Teams of students were given 20 pieces of spaghetti, one marshmallow, a yard of string and a yard of tape. Each team had to construct the tallest free standing structure from only these materials. It was a challenging and fun project.

The School Site Council is an advisory committee consisting of parents, teachers, staff and community members. The group revises the Single Plan for Student Achievement each year. The SPSA is a plan of actions to be taken to raise the academic performance of students and improve the school's educational program. To view the Single Plan for Student Achievement, visit the Documents page. Your child will bring home monthly notifications of School Site Council Meetings. We need your input, so please join us!
McCloud Elementary would like to thank the parent volunteers who have already spent a lot of time at our school in the first two weeks. They have copied papers, read with students, taken kids to the library, worked with Marianne & Jerry, taught yoga and supported the teachers in many other ways. We appreciate our volunteers and our students benefit tremendously from their help. Thank you Donna, Sandy, Angelina, Jenn, and Hannah - you are the best!
Please contact your child's teacher if you are able to volunteer your time in or out of the classroom. We also love to have community members volunteer time and share unique skills and experiences. Contact the school if you would like to share your knowledge with the students.
THANK YOU to the McCloud PTO for recently donating $500.00 to our music program. With this very generous donation, we will be able to continue to offer our students music!
The McCloud PTO is always looking for new members and current members that are willing to help with fundraisers and activities for our students. Please visit the McCloud Community PTO Facebook page or contact PTO President Amy Bourke @ firstname.lastname@example.org
